I have been keeping illuminated journals, and making limited edition and unique books from etchings, monotypes and drawings since 1989. My work was featured in an article on contemporary book arts in the November 1998 issue of ART PAPERS, and was the recipient of the Pacific Center for the Book's (PCBA) 1994 D. Steven Corey Award. My work has been exhibited widely and has been collected by libraries, museums and individuals in the United States and abroad. I received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Utah in 1990. I currently live, and work in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a Book Arts instructor at the San Francisco Center for the Book, a member of the Pacific Center for Book Arts, and an associate member of the California Clay and Glass Artists. I am an active leader in the Re-Evaluation Counseling Community: a world-wide community, peer counseling organization dedicated to the elimination of oppression of all groups (including artists!). I spend much of my time there, and in other organizations, teaching people the profound and world-changing art of listening! |
