Rosemary Di Nardo's sketchbooks are filled with drawings of half-women,
half-bird creatures. Curious about the origins of such creatures, she discoverd that the world's folklores are filled with such beings, transcending culture and geography. Intriqued by the mythologies, she began a personal visual exploration of this theme, culminating in the the Lore of the Swan, paintings, pastels and prints.

Teresa Silvestri receives her inspiration from our long-time companions -- the animals who share our homes and are part of our families as well as the creatures great and small that populate our wetlands, our forests, and our yards. Teresa's love and respect for all animals is evident in the works that comprise A Peacable Kingdom.
