"I am inspired by the natural world. I love to capture all the beauty in the florals, working with the abstract shapes of the flower centers and the petals. The lighting and transparency of flowers are always an enjoyable artistic challenge for me. I have worked with the wonderful, vibrant colors of pastels since I was very young."
