I am an experimental printmaker and painter interested in new technology. I recently discovered that creating images using art applications on a computer is a fascinating, inspirational and magical experience and I am presently fully engaged in creating pigment prints with imagery created using digital painting applications as well as incorporating some photography. The vitalizing force that energized my efforts to explore this media began in 2014 after seeing the David Hockney show at the de Young Museum in San Francisco with the exhibition of his large scale digital pigment prints.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn and received my basic art training in New York City, at the High School of Music and Art and the Cooper Union Art School. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Michigan. I was also an amateur Ballroom Dancer. My interest in science and passion for dance have shaped the structure and rhythms in the imagery I create. Although I have been painting since age 10, my life as a full time exhibiting artist began in 1992 when I left a career in scientific research.

I am a member of the California Society of Printmakers.
