“I became interested in taking photos of tree bark when I first saw a Painted Bark tree (also called Rainbow Eucalyptus and Mindanao Gum tree) along the Hana Highway in Maui in the early 1990's” said Robert Terrebonne. “I have always liked taking photos of colorful things in nature and I also enjoy doing macro shots that bring out fine details often unnoticed by the casual observer. I believe that by working closely with the subject, carefully framing my shots and by controlling photographic variables of focus and exposure, I am capturing the art in nature.” |
