At the moment I choose to work in the small, more intimate medium of color pencil drawing.

I like the way I can mold, blend, and manipulate the pencil to create a unique painterly effect. My inspiration comes from nature and its infinite variety of color, texture, and pattern. The drawings invite the viewer to stop a moment and explore the narrative found in the colorful, expressive recreation of what I see.

 

A graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, my work has been exhibited in galleries, museums, and I have pieces in multiple public and private collections. I have been a professional Fine Artist for over 40 years and currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
