Originally from northeastern Pennsylvania, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1973.  I have held faculty and administrative positions in several local colleges and universities during the past 30 years.

 

Although the arts were always a part of my life, I only recently embraced my own creative spirit.  I discovered fused glass several years ago at the Bay Area Glass Institute and I now work in the RosaModerna Studio. My inspiration comes from the glass itself and I experiment with different techniques. Glass can be an unpredictable medium, so I am often surprised when I open the kiln.

 

 I hope that my glass pieces encourage others to appreciate color and form in new ways and to smile.
